On my way to work today, I saw a car accident. A car was flipped over. Even though it was pouring out, people pulled over to look. They were gathered around the car. Some people were trying to help, some were just staring. I just drove past. About 200 feet later, I was passed by an ambulance, no doubt on its way to the accident. Every time I see an accident like that, I can't help but hope that no one got seriously injured.
Ok, that's not true.
When I see an accident like that, I can't help but hope that no one that I know got hurt. Okay, that's not true either; I hope that no one that I know who isn't a dick got hurt. Well actually, what I really hope is that no one that I know who isn't a dick got hurt, and I also hope that it wasn't any of those fucking dicks that owe me money, because they'll use it as excuse not to give me my fucking money.
Honestly, the bottom line is this: I don't care about car accidents. I don't care if anyone gets hurt or killed, so long as they don't owe me money.
